Treatments
Taylormade Timber offers a range of preservative and heat treatments that helps to ensure we all make the most of the timbers we supply.
Preservative Treatments
We have 5 pressure treatment vessels on site at Sherburn Hill, utilising the most environmentally advanced and proven new generation wood preservative - Tanalith E.This treatment is used to protect our Good Wood range of fencing timbers, giving either green (Tanalised) or brown (Tanatone) colour options.
The treated timbers carry a 15 year guarantee against the threat of decay and insect attack providing a real confidence for your fencing projects.
The process forces the Tanalith E preservative deep into the timbers' cells and, once the timber is dry, the preservative cannot be easily removed.

Dipping Treatments
We have recently invested in our own dip treatment operation to offer a highly effective anti-sapstain protection for freshly sawn timbers. The treatment provides a short term protection to keep our pallet and packaging timbers bright and clean for longer. We can also offer service treatments for this protection that helps maintain the value of freshly harvested timbers.
Heat Treatments
The ISPM15 regulations can require a heat treatment for pallet and packaging timbers. At Taylormade Timber we can offer this service to meet customers' own requirements.
